Ah, That System?

The simplest explanation of a system is the elements that result from a specific process applied to an input. In the ancient world, management systems originated in the ruler's mind and tried to come to life with their orders. The approach of systems involving multiple people taking responsibility in the face of increasing population and expanding empires (such as Rome) has turned into a system. However, in the evolving era, human needs, relationships, and expectations have become so diverse and complex that the concept of the state has gained weight, and states governed by laws affecting almost all aspects of life have multiplied. Debates between state governance systems continue. Most systems can yield different results depending on the country's culture and education level, and there is no ideal model.

Here, the critical point to pay attention to, in my opinion, should be evaluating how the output is in the face of the input. When we think simply, is the obtained output satisfactory, does it provide a quality product, does it promise the future, is it efficient, does it promote development, does it respond to the needs of the time, and does it contribute to human life? If we look at these issues within the realm of academic and technical studies, we cannot make simple and clear interpretations; we will experience indecision. Therefore, we must move by understanding that systems are not a third-party singular entity but processes we create for ourselves and make interpretations accordingly.

But most importantly, regardless of how management systems are, we must not forget that it is we who will operate them efficiently, properly, with quality, fairness, and results. A well-designed system can atrophy in the hands of the incompetent, or a system that is not very advanced can produce much better results in the hands of competent individuals.

In summary, let's look at ourselves first, not the systems.
